Alpe d’Huez, situated in the French Alps, is indeed a famous and highly regarded destination for skiing and snowboarding. Known for its extensive ski area, diverse terrain, and reliable snow conditions, Alpe d’Huez offers an exceptional winter sports experience. With over 250 kilometers of slopes catering to all levels of ability, including a challenging black run famously known as the Sarenne, it’s a haven for thrill-seekers and beginners alike. Additionally, the resort’s high-altitude location ensures excellent snow coverage throughout the season, while its modern lift infrastructure provides efficient access to the slopes. Bansko, Bulgaria

Nestled in Bulgaria’s Pirin Mountains, Bansko has become a popular destination for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, offering modern facilities, extensive slopes, and affordable prices. With over 70 kilometers of well-groomed runs catering to all skill levels, Bansko provides a fantastic winter sports experience. Its modern lifts ensure easy access to the slopes, while the charming town center offers a range of accommodations, delicious cuisine, and lively après-ski options. Despite not boasting the same prestige as some European counterparts, Bansko’s blend of affordability, quality skiing, and vibrant atmosphere makes it an excellent choice for a memorable winter getaway. In my opinion Bansko is for more experienced skiing enthusiasts then beginners. Anyway if you are a beginner highly recommend to take instructor for all the days you plan to ski. It will worth it.
